Taylor the Latte Boy

This is currently my favorite song, I sing it in the shower, I sing to Kiara and its always in my head. I like Lea!

Taylor the Latte Boy by Kristin Chenoweth (girl from pushing daisies)

There's a boy who works at Starbucks
Who is very inspirational.
He is very inspirational because of many things.

I come in at 8:11, and he smiles and says, "How are you?"
When he smiles and says, "How are you?"
I could swear my heart grows wings!

So today at 8:11
I decided I should meet him
I decided I should meet him
In a proper formal way.

So today at 8:11 when he smiled and said "How are you?"
I said "Fine, and my name’s Kristin"
And he softly answered, "Hey."
And I said "My name is Kristen, and thank you for the extra foam…"

And he said his name was Taylor,
Which provides the inspiration for this poem:

Taylor the latte boy,
Bring me java, bring me joy!
Oh Taylor the latte boy,
I love him, I love him, I love him…

So I’d like to get my nerve up
To recite my poem musical.
He would like the fact it’s musical
Because he plays guitar.
So today at 8:11, Taylor told me he was playing
In a band down in the village in the basement of a bar.

And he smoothly flipped the lever to prepare my double latte,
But for me he made it triple! And he didn’t think I knew
But I saw him flip the lever, and for me he made it triple,
And I knew that triple latte meant that Taylor loved me too!
I said, "What time are you playing? And thank you for the extra skim…"
He said, "Keep the $3.55," because this triple latte was on him.

Taylor the latte boy,
Bring me java, bring me joy!
Oh Taylor the latte boy,
I love him, I love him, I love him…

I used to be the kind of girl who'd run when love rushed toward her.
But finally a voice whispered "Love can be yours, if you step up to the counter, and order."

Taylor, the latte boy
Bring me java, bring me joy
Oh Taylor the latte boy
I love him, I love him, I love him.

So many years my heart has waited,
Who’d have thought that love could be so caffeinated?
Taylor, the latte boy,
I love him, I love him, I love him.
I love him, I love him, I love him.

Looking for Webhosting Site

I know a lot of bloggers who purchased their own domain name and maintain their own sites. I have seen a lot of blogs especially designed for them. I often wonder how they do that, having their own dot com address instead of having wordpress or blogspot. Wouldn't it be nice to have your mark in the World Wide Web?

There is one web hosting site that offers reviews, ratings and awards of top webhost providers around. In this site you can find information like prices, features and testimonials from those who availed of their services.

You can choose from a variety of web hosting sites whether it be for your business or blogs. There are web hosts that offer up to 5 free domain name included in their package. Some offer unlimited disk space and unlimited monthly traffic. These features are very important in a site especially for business sites. You do not want to loose customers visiting your site. Downtime is also important. Your site should always be up and running. In case where you encounter any problem a helpful technical support should be readily available.
Security should not be compromised, in fact this is one if not the most important feature that you should be looking for in a web hosting site. Like in this article featured in their blog siteIs your Business Website Secure?. Viruses and Hackers can easily penetrate your site and leave your business or blogs unavailable.

For a mommy blogger like me, I would go for a simple web hosting that could accommodate pictures and one who offers a free layout of the site. I have a lot of plans for my blog and I hope I can realize that the soonest possible time.

It's Cooler in Scottsdale, Arizona

Today, it is 33 °C in Manila, it is cooler in Scottsdale, Arizona with a temperature of 21°C. My baby Kiara would have love that kind of weather. Like right now, she can't sleep and she is always sweating. There is also an increase in electricity bill because of the heat. Oh, it is really hot these days.

I remember when I was a trainee in a call center and we have to memorize the states of America and some trivia that goes with it. The state of Arizona does not follow the daylight savings time because in their history they have a lot of banks there and if they will follow DST they always have to change the passwords, computers and some application in the bank just to follow DST.

So, going back to the weather, Manila's weather is hotter than Arizona. If I live in the States I could purchase some Arizona lands and you can find some properties at this site Scottsdale real estate. Check this one out Eagle's Pass located near a four Season's Resort and Spa.

The property is spacious and ideal for kids and for fitness conscious people.

A Different Kind of Furniture

This is my first time to see these kinds of beds. I am used to the symmetrical and modern designs displayed in department stores. These reminds me of the furniture for sale in Tagaytay where they used the same material for table but not beds. You can find these beds in this site rustic furniture and upon browsing the site, I particularly love the Eastern Cedar Mountain Collection complete with nightstand, 2 dressers, mirror and a table lamp. I like the color of the wood because it is not too dark and imposing. The color seems to have a calming effect and perfect for sleeping or reading a book. The simple design makes it easy to coordinate with the right sheets, mattress and other accessories.

Chocolate Kiss inside UP Diliman

We ate at Chocolate Kiss last March 14, Saturday, together with my classmates on my masteral Counseling class under Dr. Evangeline de Jesus.  I was surprised to know that they raised their prices. We first ate here 4 years ago during our prenuptial with Mimi and Karl. Hehehe. Syempre mataas na ang cost ng food. Pero ok pa rin naman ang taste and reasonable na ang price nila... like the spareribs ( best seller) parang rumpa na rin. malaki ang serving.

Gumbo at the Atrium

If we finished early on Monday or Tuesday, after my masteral class, we would try to go and sample new restaurants especially in the Atrium. There are a lot of new restarant there and each of them has their own style of enticing guest to eat.
We tried Gumbo because they have big servings that is good for sharing. They also have a free buffalo wings during that time.
So we ordered pizza for me and pork chop for Irwin. ( so much for sharing) plus we had the buffalo wings.

This is my first time to eat a special meal, according to Irwin it taste like the food in the States. Ganito raw talaga ang lasa ng mga pagkain dun. Gumbo, a Taste of New Orleans, wow, sarap. The pizza is not like the other pizza I've tried. Ewan ko, I cannot describe it. Wala kang ititira, like in some pizza you don't eat the hard bread, eto to the last bite.
The coleslaw tastes something else. The porkchop is also tasty.
we will definitely go back and try something else on their menu.
