Impressive Politicians: Maybe They Are Made?

I was never impressed with any politician. When I look at the billboards I looked at their tummy and would judge them according to the size of their waistline. That I think would indicate a balanced person, one who can still exercise. One who still has health. While doing the Visita Iglesia, I chanced upon a senatorial candidate and was greatly surprised to see a very old, old man which is the opposite of his picture in his campaign photo. Then I continuously check for a whole body or even half body photo of candidates. I find a few pictures with half body photo. All are facial shots. Photoshopped. The Mayors, the Senators, Congressmen etc. and even the Baranggay Captains and Councilors are PUBLIC SERVANTS. I once tried to get a barangay clearance and I've seen a councilor, fully dressed, exuding power and authority. Then, I thought, this is not how a public servant should act. But all of this will change once election and the campaign period starts. Suddenly, you find them so friendly and approachable.

Gong Cha Bloopers

Sometime last August, we bought a Gong Cha milk tea at Megamall Atrium and I was surprised to see this when I got home. My milk tea had an extra free cover of the shaker! When we tried to buy again and informed them that I have the cover, they were asking me to return it because it will be deducted from them, it is part of their inventory. Well, the guy who prepared my drink apologized but I wanted to hear more than that. So the cover stays with me.

Visiting Cousins from Seattle, Washington

Tawny and Abbey are my husband's cousins who lived in the United States and they are studying at the Seattle University in Washington. Tawny used to go to Roosevelt High School and she was one of the awarded student in her school. Abbey is into sports, dancing and fashion.

Sometimes they would tell stories about their university and life in the United States.  since they are Americans and they love American sports, they watch sports from the TV and if it is a university game, they were allowed to watch an actual game. These ladies have overprotective parents and so I am amazed.
