Taal Lake Weekend Special
Last Monday, we went to Tagaytay because our Aunt Carmen and Uncle Mario arrived from Canada so we have to tour them here in our country. We always like to go to Tagaytay but we never visited the Taal Lake or the Taal Volcano. Akala ko yung magandang almost cone shaped na mountain eh yun ang Taal Volcano, I was wrong. It was the other mountain. So if you plan to go to Taal Lake and see the Taal Volcano, prepare for a grueling sun, boat ride and horse ride but after all this hardship, wow, the view is extremely rewarding. Bale wala ang mga pagod at hirap ng pag-akyat, long story, we walked up the mountain, we never ride a horse going up and down, bagong raspa raw ako, bawal baka hindi na ako magka-anak. Hehehe.
How much money should you bring in case you want to visit the place?
*1,000 to 1,800 for the boat ride, be sure to haggle, tawad ng tawad, mas tataasan ang rate kung may kasamang foreigner.
*450-500 for the horse ride, 750 for the foreigner, double standard noh, mas mahal sa foreigner.
* 30 for the 250 ml na mineral water when you get to the top
* 20 pesos for the use of comfort room, mabigat dalhin sa itaas ang mga hollow blocks to build the wash room
*50 pesos if you feel like drinking fresh buko
Maybe you can bring your own food para mas enjoy, do not go there around noon, ang init, preferably in the afternoon para tolerable and araw
Naglakad kami ni Ate, sobra, nalakad namin paakyat ng bundok, it took us 45 minutes to go up, by horse nasa 30 minutes, konti lang ang diprensya, masaya ring maglakad, nakakapadog, rest in between your walk, you can get to the top.
Iba ang lasa ng tubig sa itaas ng bundok, sobrang refreshing kasi kagagaling mo lang sa pag-akyat.
